That Mississippi River sounds good, I've never heard of it. I'll have to check that out. Thats a big order your dad got there. I'm kind of like you in that I'm moving away from aromatics (still like the good ones) I enjoy the Va's and English much more. I still like to smoke aro's when I'm outside just because I know the public will be ok with it. I highly recommend Sillem's Black for a killer hybrid. Aromantic w/ Latakia. Tastes good all the way down.

Dagner - I've never heard of that Mississippi River, but now you've made me add it to my next tobacco order! And while I started on aromatics (like many pipe smokers), it seems most of us eventually go for the non-aromatic/english blends as our main tobacco diet, perhaps throwing an aromatic in there to break the monotony!
Anyway, nice score of tobaccos over there. If you didn't live on the other side of the country, I'd stop on over and smoke with ya! - Jeff

totally agree with your statement on aromatics. i cant stand them too. they sure smell good, but as soon as you light them up in a bowl it tastes like crap. i tried dozens of them and if it were not for the english tobaccos i would have stopped smoking pipe by now.
