The Leaky Jar

This was an earlier assignment I did for media as a film on representation.
In this, I constructed a film representation of Socrates' "Leaky Jar" Analogy from Plato's text "The Gorgias" which is a dialogue between Philosopher Socrates and Rhetorician Callicles.
I studied the Gorgias in Year 12 Philosophy earlier this year and especially loved this analogy.
Basically I took the metaphor of the leaky jar and applied it to a modern hedonist and displayed her coming to terms with what true happiness is, with a little help from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Some of the editing is a little dodgy but in regards to films I have made, it is certainly one that I am most proud of as well as probably being the most well made by me.

The instrumental music I used I can tell you because the composer, Mozart, is out of copyright :)
In order of appearance:
- Symphony 1 in E Major KV016 Mov. 2 Andante
- Piano Concert No. 9 in E flat Major K271 Mov. 2 Andantino
- Piano Concerto No. 23 K448 Mov. 2 Andante
A lot of his earlier works I think :)
The other song I don't own and do not intend to claim that I own and I need not mention it because you probably already know it :)
