I've had this keyhole router bit for a while but have never used it. I hand wrote a short NC file to make use of it. It's great for hanging items on the wall like pictures and shelves.

  • What program did you use to write the gcode? I did this once with MDI commands & it was scary. I was afraid I would send the bit in the wrong direction. Thanks for your series. I have watched you from the beginning.

  • @wdwkr53 I just did it freehand in notepad. I'm going to add it to the downloads section on the website. I'll try to get it done this week.

  • My Dad used to make these with chisels, when you can't see them on the face of the wood he called them a secret key if you could see them it was just a key. I still use them now in my trade for hanging headboards etc. But when I where young my dad used this for the grills on my speakers I was always making. Nice vid
