  • hey, i'm new to building computers. I was wondering, if I replaced my two year old computer and just changed the old motherboard for a new one. What would I have to do in terms of software to make the computer work?

Would I have to reinstall Windows Vista all over again?

Or do I just have to uninstall the previous bios driver, replace motherboard and then install the new bios driver?

  • You will have to reinstall OS for best results. What hardware do you have just wondering send me a PM if you like to chat bout it.

  • hi, is it possible to place to place a big VGA card like GTX260 on the first vga slot, so the orange slot.

  • it will work but wont be able to open RAM tabs on bottom easily.

  • biostar is impressive. Good choice for a quality budget board. Your money's worth more than you could ask for.

  • Rick do you think this is one of the best OCing LGA 775 boards there is out there? I'm going to be using DICE.

  • Looking through the TPower I45 manual I notice it supports up to DDR2 1066 4X2GB modules (max 8GB) while the Crucial site says the board can support 4GB DDR2 PC2-5300 modules giving a total of 16GB RAM. So I am wondering if the board can take 4GB RAM modules?

  • How to OverClock BIOSTAR P4-M900-M4 MainBoard with Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.40 Ghz. & 512 MB of System Memory.

  • Not sure I can go down to 667 default and if OC I can go as low as the FSB is at 1:1.

  • Yes it is , I have it on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 ;P

  • i dont think the operating system will effect it because my old pc isREALLY REALLY REALLY old and im using windows 7 on it. so i dont think it will effect it:D
