The new "Halo 4 Trilogy" is called "The Reclaimer Trilogy".

This new trilogy is going to open up the playing field for the Halo franchise and really show us the power behind 343 Industries, Microsoft, and what Bungie has left for the crew.

Please be aware that 343 Industries is made up of ex-bungie team members, as well as many others that have extreme interest and passion for the Halo franchise. They want to bring back the core values of Halo with the upcoming Halo 4 and in doing so should start fresh.

Agreed, i love halo reach. But the feeling that playing halo 3 brought to me was unique... It is like when you think about it simpler games are more fun to play, im not saying that halo 1,2,3 where simple but i mean that they where not AS COMPLEX AS REACH. There where many aspects people didn´t like and some stuff that people couldn´t get used to like bloom and armour lock that made people quit, halo reach is nice but halo 1,2,3 are something special and i think we all want to see tht AGAIN!

Blomkamp worked to exhaustion for five months preparing the project, which went as far as constructing props and costumes and producing short Halo-themed films as test footage. The project then collapsed. Jackson allowed Blomkamp a free reign in choosing a new project, which led to District 9. Although Blomkamp is still "creatively interested" in Halo, he does not wish to return to the project after working on it for so long and watching it collapse.

I actually LOVED ODST's story, but not having Chief hurt those games.
