Wow it was terrific hearing his outbursts when he was a youngster,but it's awful to hear about this when the man is 50 years old. how embarrassing.

What an immature embarrassment. He complains that US tennis sucks, but, what dad is gonna say to his kid (in the 1980's), "Here, son, watch this guy, I want you to be just like him".

Amazing. LOL. Wow. I've always wondered if Johnny Mac is simply THAT COMPETITIVE, where his emotions will always just take over? Or, If he's having some of his outbursts to enhance the "show". I still think it's a combination of the two, but this one seemed to be pure competitive emotion. I don't agree with his antics or SOME of his outbursts, but it is fun to watch, which CAN make a match more fun. He's still my favorite commentator, with his knowledge and voice for the game.

I WAS THERE!! 1ST Argues with a fan, calls him an A-hole. Next,Tells linesman to take off sunglasses, then demands it as the cloud coverage gets thicker. Next throws racquet "G-damn", next tells chair umpire "that's right, repeat it slower and louder for a different intellectual spin" Lastly gives crowd the finger holding up his racquet with the same hand. He certainly puts the cigar smoke in tennis; you know you've seen the real McEnroe!
