  • Can you join if you have a history of orthotic use due to flat feet?

can you get a waiver for it?

    thanks

  • @350z350zify,

A waiver is possible. It would ultimately be up to the MEPS.

  • @helopilipinas

The Guard has a unique dual mission, with both federal and state responsibilities. During peacetime, Guard forces are commanded by the governor through a State Adjutant General. The governor can call the Guard into action during local or state-wide emergencies, such as storms, drought and civil disturbances. In addition, the President of the United States can activate the National Guard to participate in federal missions.

  • @angelofwaranddeath The armies are different centuries, don't even try to compare them.

  • @angelofwaranddeath

    You're an idiot.

ME-262 meet every modern fighter with every modern missle the US has.

Their infantry would be seriously outgunned, their air force destroyed. Every piece of armor destroyed by helicopters. They wouldn't last a week against us.

  • the german Blitzkrieg would annihilate this army .all the armour and weapons they use r based on quality and their tanks r #1 on the battlefield.we wouldnt stand a chance.the germans made the ME-262 jet fighter,Horton b-2 flying wing.(which we copied off them.)etc.. various other technological wonders today they r still #1.and they would own us on the battlefield with commanders like rommel in charge.

  • damn me being 6,3 they won't let me in a tank

  • @nationalguard thanks for the reply, ill see what i can do.

  • Old-School, Army. Heavy Armor Divisions. The 2nd to be specific. Being present c1990 Fort Hood when my Heart Covered TRIANGLE dissapeared is still a hard lump to swallow. The vanishing Heavy Cavalry Regiments too. Is this the right move? Only time will tell. Some of 'us' old-schoolers are finding a new appreciation for the National Guard. The United States hasn't involved 'States Militia" of this magnitude since Ante Bellum. A positive *note, Citizen Soldiers are providing national defense.

  • Beast of night, you want to join the regular Army. It is true that Marines are on the front lines, but the Army occupies what is left after the Marines. So you still get the action, but not the intensity of the Marines. However, maybe for you you might want the rangers, they deploy and work with the Army to fight but mostly deploy in smaller places... Like Somalia in the 1900's. Read black hawk down for more on that... Fun unit, and they work with Delta force. Just a suggestion...

  • Boy I love watching explosions. It excites me. That's one of the reasons why I watch the mythbusters too.
