An original tune i wrote and had a lot of fun doing. MY brother Kevin put drums to it. The song is basically about my love for music and how music is my sunshine. In my songwriting of late i treid to return to more simple chord progressions and re-connect with a 70's feel. The guitar is wonderful and i have been loving it ever since i picked it up at age 11. It brings me up when i am down etc. My guitar does not complain or get disappointed with me. It waits for me and is never impatient with me and would never punish me for hitting wrong notes or not picking it up for a day or two. IT does not suggest me to pray to it and bow down to it although i should because it does me a lot of good! It gives me space and freedom to create, to experiment.
The guitar i used for strumming chords was actually a Carvin Cobalt 750 which i bought recently. It has inspired me to write tunes and this is one. The "ELECTRA" guitar seen in the video is my very first electric guitar which i got in 1977 and it has a great neck on it.
Take care.
Ray

@AndanteLargo Hi Peo, Thanks so much for watching. We both have that in common as many others do, the love for the instrument and music. I don't know what i would do without it!
Cheers,
Ray

WOW! What a nice video Ray! Light, colorful, happy and bright! Well, even if I am a musician, I am very visual too and this helped my appreciate your music even more. I have the same "relationship" with my guitar... sometimes I look at it and say: I love you! and all I have in this world, is because of YOU. Then I play it and we are both happy and smiling. Thanks Ray for letting me remember this!
Love,
Peo
