But if you cheat its not your information it is someone else's. I work hard and all I get is C's and maybe a few B's and an A when I am lucky. It is like downing the person who actually does the work and learns when someone else in the class cheats and gets the better grade. I say cracking down on cheating in any means necessary is great and that includes blogs. But you are right in the since that I am paying for the class and the teacher should serve me. Teachers do serve us with knowledge.

I say it's bullshit. I get the whole "Syllabus is a legal document" and all that jazz, but in the end I'm the one paying for the class. My teacher is there to serve me, therefore I should have a say what he or she does or does not do with my information.

So long as I have to pay for my own education, it is going to be in my terms. NOT the instructor. Teachers are not Gods.

if you are paying to cheat your way to a degree. that degree will be worthless if you actually dont have the knowledge to go with the degree. so i stand that if the teacher blogs about cheating students. serves them right. reinstate the teacher and get rid of the students. Oh OH OH and here is a good one minimal competency if you wanna talk about BS there is a good one. I failed a class cause I got a D on a test I complained and complained about it and nothing could be done about it so i am out
