Im one of the biggest Poison/CC D. bashers on the planet and have been playing my Les Paul for about 22 years so u good players know why i'm a basher. However, the shit CC was churnin out at 3:40 was so full of soul and brilliance that im still cleaning the shit outta my pants. Wouldda been nice if he would have resolved with a little more soul but he made his point. There was definitely a few moments of brilliance. I didn't think he had it in him. Well done, C.C.

CC has never got the Respect he deserves for his skill but he is ok with that. This guy is an Amazing guitar player. If you are a young guitar player, you should learn what you can from any guitar player specially one that is as successful as CC. Don't rush to say negative or ignorant things. Study your craft.

C. C. DeVille IS a great guitarist, but only when he has to. His main downfall, and the reason other guitarists rag on him, is that he's incredibly sloppy... I love him but damn is he sloppy.
That being said I don't think there is a guitarist alive, if he's being honest, that wouldn't kill for his tone. Barring Eddie,Slash and Lynch I can't think of a more distinct tone to come out of the 80's metal scene... Say what you want but C. C. DeVille has killer tone!!!

@ten8goa its just blues improvising, anyone can do it. It just doesnt sound like mindless wanking because of the piano backing. its pretty ordinary and lame. and even when he is improvising he is still wanking off towards the end

VH1 Classic played a couple of clips from this tour and at the end of the solo, they go into "I hate every bone in your body...but mine" lol. But they didn't do that here.
