I put a brand new ACS Claw onto my Fixie. I have read on a few different sites that they need to be opened up and lubed otherwise they will go bad fast. Now these postings were all from 2004 to 2008. Today it is 2011. So, do you know if I still need to do this or not?
@shaggykid332 That's a fixie. Freewheels/cassettes are for multi-geared bikes

@dryice129 free wheels are more expencive, and to get the click you take the grease off your inner hub

@dryice129 sprockets cost the same doesnt madder what you have on your hub you still use same sprockets
