As Arctic ice melts, new shipping routes in the Northwest passage open up--which is great for major transport lines. But this could also be a potential point of conflict between North America and Russia. • north passage ice is not melting, you can speculate all you want. If it is ever opened , then we will look at it, in the mean time please pay your toll at the Panama Canal. ice takes more mass than liquid water, so ice melting would reduce sea levels. You are still reading the ipcc computer models? or looking at the real sea levels lowering, polar ice growing & temp cooling. Stop geo engineer the planet with cloud seeding and haarp, maybe the climate will calm down
