@snackynak yeah, it would be nice to have a sanctuary for men, but we've got to pick out battles, and turns out women and ethnic minorities need and deserve these services more than men and white people. and also, they do, women's studies have largely been changed to gender studies nowadays, which is another reason why his argument is dumb. anyway, i despise long scenes in ANY documentary where the film maker goes and badgers receptionists in peoples offices unreasonably expecting grand debates.

@rrff7755 It doesn't matter whether or not men are under-represented or oppressed. Men still have issues and masculinity is still loaded with social stereotypes that are perpetuated by the media, hollywood, and religion. Why not have men's studies? or a place were men can go when they have male related issues? Or why not have "gender studies", where both are studied? I think schools already do this, no?

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that Iraq most likely wouldn't have invaded Kuwait had we not put Saddam Hussein's ass in power in the first place. So his article is pretty silly, since it doesn't account for this fact, but the problem of university professors engaging in this type of conduct still stands.
