  • Ha! A remake of the Final boss music from the first Castlevania (NES) Where Simon first fight Dracula before the transformation into something hideous.

  • When I heard this song in one of my dreams, this version was the one playing when I was playing a game that I think was called Castlevania Tetris, but I forgot.

  • [iminent rb=anim]I love to hear this song when i get to the end of stage 1. Brings back memories.[/rb]

  • @davedetrick Something hideous is right!

  • It's awesome hearing a 16-bit remix of this. Konami never did any wrong on the Genesis. Them and Treasure.

  • @AlexSmashX2 Im having this almost exact conversation with my friend. The Genesis was considered inferior in a lot of ways to the SNES but alot of companies did their best to push the system to it's max and put out these wonderful games. PoR came out 12/6/2006. The story is good and it is a straight sequel to Bloodlines. But the music is kinda subpar compared to all the others. If you have a DS I'd recommend pickin it up. I got the anniversary collection, bought it used

  • @scrltspdrslayer John Morris does make the game harder, and I never knew PoR was the sequel, I never got a chance to play it, and I don't remember what it came out on. But Bottom line, Bloodlines is the best game to go to if you want to see the genesis at its best. Michiru Yamane, I love you, and you musical amazingness. (Though she isn't the only ones to be credited for this games greatness, she's the only one I can remember. XD)

  • @AlexSmashX2 The Medusa heads are always a bitch in any CastleVania game. They're even worse in gamems like Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow. The RPG CastleVanias. And it was Eric Lecarde and John Morris. And Portrait of Ruin was a Sequel to this game, but ti was rather disappointing. I played with John ore than Eric because of the extra challenge he presented in the game

  • @scrltspdrslayer the monsters deal more damage, more small monsters attack you (mostly bats), and the Medusa heads piss you off even more(There may be more than that but I cant remember.). and actually their no problem, you just got to get use to how they attack, and DON'T GET HIT!! Once you die, you'll most likly find a way to get one power up, and be forced to fight them with the trident(eric)/First chain whip(Cant remember the other guys name. >~<)

  • @AlexSmashX2 The levels themself are pretty hard. The bosses tho are a let down and fairly easy. The only ones I have problems with is the first one for stage 2 that teleports all over the screen and raises the water level, then the 2 giant axe armors right after that. And the flying creature at the end at the leaning tower of pisa stage. I can only imagine how expert is. Maybe when I get that new system that plays NES, SuperNES and Sega games. I'll pick up Bloodlines and try it out

  • @jacksprat1990 Never for an Emulator, EVER!!! They don't have the same sound as the Genesis/Mega Drive.
