This is the last scene from Tuck Everlasting, and it is my favorite. When Winnie Foster was faced with a life-changing decision, she had to make the right choice. Watch, and I think that you will agree that she chose well, however painful her decision may have been.

As disheartened as I was after watching the film, It opening my eyes. For some reason I just wanted her to drink the water not to become immortal but for Jesse's sake. Alot of people disagree that her decision was wrong, but could you imagine how much courage it took to not drink the water after what theyve been through. Just live life n become part of the "wheel" was what the Tucks wanted Winnie to have. Still very sad n tragic.

i love this movie... i think that if i were in her situation i would have drank the water not so i could live forever but so i could be with jessie forever... cause how could she ever have loved another man knowing the kind of love that was out there with jessie... there love was strong a love that there was no way she could have shared with another man... i would have drank the water and waited 1000 yrs if i had to just so i could be with him oh the beauty of true love

The while point of the book, though, was to explain why living forever is not the right decision. Sure she loves him, but i think she did what the Tuck's would have wanted her to do. They would have wanted her to live a wonderful life, and she did. She realized that living forever, even with the man she loves, would be a curse not a blessing
