The circumference of the Earth at the equator is 25,000 miles. The Earth rotates in about 24 hours. Therefore, if you were to hang above the surface of the Earth at the equator without moving, you would see 25,000 miles pass by in 24 hours, at a speed of 25000/24 or just over 1000 miles per hour.

Multiply by cosine of your latitude to see how fast the Earth is rotating where you are.

Earth is also moving around the Sun at about 67,000 miles per hour.

@MSpainter59 Are you aware how fast objects travel in space? About 18,000 miles per hour for a satellite. Sputnik orbited the earth every hour and a half. So yeah, stuff travels that fast in space without being propelled by intelligence. Are you even aware of how many tons of junk is floating around in orbit??? There are over 1000 operational satellites, a rocket booster can leave over 300 pieces of junk in orbit. And all traveling about 18,000 miles per hour or even faster.

Looks like a tumbling piece of junk.

First the item is tumbling. A space ship wouldn't tumble.

Second it is too close to the cameras to be a ship of some kind. It is some small junk floating away.

I don't know what that large object is above the Earth, but I doubt it is a UFO. I know how easy it is to take a news cast, add something in, then play it back on the TV and record that with a camcorder like it really happened. The other lights...A ton of sattelites in space. I call BS
