Meadowcreek Park Re-Opening

City hosts Meadowcreek Park Re-opening
San Angelo, Texas (Oct. 10, 2011) -- City officials will host a re-opening ceremony for
Meadowcreek Park on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 5:30 p.m. The festivities will include free
hot dogs, nachos, soft drinks and brief remarks by City leaders.
The $250,000 renovation project at Meadowcreek Park, 5117 Tabosa Dr., was
funded by voter-approved half-cent sales tax monies. Improvements include a trail
around the park, two playgrounds, a practice ball field, refurbished tennis courts and
basketball goals, lighting, a drinking fountain and new turf.
