Hipp0, you need to aim for the thrusters at the bottom of the dropships, rather than the dropships them selves. They take extra damage from shooting them there, I found that out the hard way after a few tries.

I like defenses more than attacks, cause you get turrets to protect you.

Oh yeah and once most hilariously while using a Dire Wolf outfitted with 4 Clan ER Large Lasers and 2 Clan Ultra AC 20's I strayed to close to the last dropship when I blew it up and was caught in the explosion failing the mission.

While being one of the harder missions I found this to also be one of the more enjoyable because of all the targets. Tho logic would suggest that since this is a mech proving ground you'd think there'd be at least *one* field repair bay on the base...
