descendents are not a nerd band at all. Descendents always said what they wanted to. In my town thats called integrity. Milo's a nerd, they've never sang a song about doing equations or anything and as far as I can tell he's the only one that went on to have an actual career.

wow! what a great post!! They have been around forever (in various forms) and it has been worthwhile EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sure you got Milo, and he will always be the original "voice"... but Dave Smalley, Scott Reynolds, and Chad have ALL had a part to play. Amazing songs about some pretty mundane shit... OR songs that can pull at your heart in regards to emotions we have/will all share. Fast/slow or silly/serious, they have given SO much to us...

@abbienormals21 They all have careers, Steven Egerton just released a solo album and they are doing a reunion show in AUS in december. I'm pretty sure there will be a new album as well.
