PI a democratic country but most people are very very poor. People are struggling to survived.
Most politicians in P.I. are "CORRUPT" up to the bones. They are only interested in "kickback".
Since I left overseas decade ago, nothing has changed. Too many poor people.
Song and dance on PI tv is the only temporary remedy for those who are struggling to survived. What good are these song and dance when your hungry?
