Why does that guy keep cutting Sandor off? Quite annoying.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course.. however, Sandor will tell you that he's only alive today because of the health benefits he receives from fermented foods.
As @davidscottlevi points out, the statistics on life expectancy are tied to very different factors than hygiene.
In fact, much harm has been done in the name of hygiene.
I would argue that nutrition is mostly responsible for our longevity.
Peace,
Steve.

2. Life expectancy has not risen in the past century or two. Like other forms of wealth, it has been concentrated in the urbanized, industrial West. Life expectancy, and other health indices, have plummeted in most of the world, the regions hyperexploited by, toxified by, and culturally undermined by the West.

I think it was because we started taking a more careful look at personal hygiene was the reason why life expectancy began to rise above 40 in the 1800s. This guy has the wrong idea. He needs to be flensed

I ran across Katz's sauerkraut site. I am interested in making my own. He pointed me to this site. I like what he has to say.

I didn't know that there was more DNA in my body that wasn't reproducing my own unique humyn sequence... very enlightening. Thanks for the upload...
1. Sandor is not arguing against the appropriate use of antibiotics to save people with life-threatening infections of pathogenic bacteria. He is arguing against the wanton use of antibiotics by healthy people (and on healthy animals), which greatly accelerates the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria, which will (not may, but will) be the agents of the next devastating global pandemic.
