Well, I have a Lotus Exige "S" and I can tell you she wasn't trying very hard. A more realistic demo of the Exige S here on Youtube is a very nice race in Bathhurst. Just do a search for Lotus Exige vs Lamborghini.
In that video the Exige races car for car with the V10 Lambo Gallardo. At 3:30 in the video you see a Porsche GT3 poke his nose up next to the Lotus Exige...but that's the last you see of that Porche....and it is NOT a Carrera! It's a GT3!! LOL!!!

luv a woman who can handle a car!! lotus is a nice car,but in my opinion is more of a track car,not street!!....the porsche is better all way around,good power to weight ration,more luxurious,better re-sale value,and handle just as good!! also a little more interior room to work with,it's a everyday sports car!!

Lotus is just special really...it feels different it looks great and is awsome to drive. Unless you are going through a mid-life crisis and need a civilized phallic icon like the Porshe I think you are better off with the Lotus :P

That woman set that up so the Porsche could win. She wasn't even going in the curves the way she needed to, the Lotus has way better handling than what she was driving it. Plus, she was looking into the camera when she was driving to the viewers. Keep your damn eyes on the road bitch! LOL Trying to fuck up the Lotus' time at the end or what?
