  • I am a CNA instructor and was one myself for over ten years.I want to expose my students to the kind of people they may come in contact with.It is a stressful job BUT our elderly do not deserve this.I would like to use your video and any others as a teaching tool for my students. I want them to see and know that they NEVER want to become those kind of cna's.Would you be willing to email me this and any other videos? I can't copy from youtube.Anyone else may email elderabuse vids.bjpb30@gmail.com

  • @bjpb30 I will ask my mother before I send it to you. She will have to agree.

  • By the way thank all of you for your response I really appreciate the info and opinions

things are better now that my mom wont go away for more than a day. Thank you again for your time.

  • Well the problem is that it does not happen unless I go away for 2 or more days. When I show up everyday it does not happen.

  • How can people be so Fkn cruel to someone's loving mother who can not take care of her self... No wonder I hear so many people say they never want to end up in a nursing home and my own mother says she wants to die before she got to this stage. So sad :'(

  • f***** that person that is abusinh her !!! hell

  • WOW!!! I WLD BE IN JAIL IF THAT WAS MY MOM/GRANDMA!!

  • Most people just do not realise this. Yes there are cna's that are really crappy and I have reported some myself, but its frustrating when family members jump to conclusions because they are not informed medically. And if she has alzhimers its a strong chance she is combative and quite possible does it on accident to herself. If you still feel she is in danger, remove her from where ever she is, call the department of aging and disability in your state and yiur local omibudsman.

  • First things first. A vast majority of elderly bruise VERY easily, it does not mean they are being abused. My grandmother who lives alone gets huge red bruses(like the above) whenever her skin gets bumped by anything. Skin tears(which that looks like above) is so common because their skin is paper thin(i lifted one of my patients and my name badge on my chest cut her and I did everything right. Second, bed baths are given when its to dangerous for the patient or for us.

  • @Salem6021 Get a good attorney as well. They don't deserve to be running their buisness!
