Soraya Awareness is Love

Spanish music sensation Soraya teamed up with Proctor and Gamble (P&G) to help the Spanish community in the fight against breast Cancer since the Spanish community never really has adequate health care. Breast cancer hit home with Soraya at a young age when her mother was diagnosed when she was 12. Then in 2000 At age 31 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy . She had beaten cancer until May 10, 2006 at age 37 Cancer had taken this amazing soul and angelic voice. She leaves a legacy of hope to those who hear her voice and will forever live on as an inspiration to those who need to have the strength to continue on. She never gave up. I had the honor of meeting her when this was made. She was a walking ray of light.

Thanx for the video. And wow!! you met her. I would love to know more about what she was like, and what it was like when you met her. I read her book just recently. She was amazing and i wish she was still here with us.

She was really cool I had no idea what she went through when I met her and she didn't mention any of it. I was just a Production assistant/editor on the piece. She was just so amazing and so positive. I actually cried when I found out about her passing.
