It would seem to have been a rather unwise move to put a fragile car & virgin driver into this event .
Perhaps they should have gone for a formula where the lightness and acceleration of the Hyundai would have been an asset and allow it to have a chance of completing the race.
It makes you wonder if what banger racers will do. Take six cars on a transporter.
The attrition rate will be phenomenal.

What a waste of time & effort in prepping the car. A little shove up the arse and it was all over.
Why on earth couldn't you have taken replacement struts, wishbones & drive shafts for each side at the front. Failing that fitting improved front-end protection, because it really was a nippy car.
