"To honor our armed forces children." I am a child of a military parent and I can tell you that we needed no honoring from anyone. All we wanted to see our mothers and fathers at the end of a day and to see them come home from war safe and sound. We really didn't like the special treatment we received. It was all pandering and patronizing and most of us were smart kids and we wanted to be treated equally with all of our peers. Other than that this had a nice stage and bad dancing.
I guess halftime shows have sucked for a long time...
