Here's another oldie that I know thanks to the old 78's recorded by Tiny Hill. I had trouble with this one because the lyrics are kind of different to modern ears. I'm still not sure what "she tears portiers" means. But I like the idea of "crullers and cheese"
You can bring Pearl,
She's a darn nice girl,
But don't bring Lulu.
You can bring Rose
With her turned up nose,
But don't bring Lulu.
Lulu always wants to do,
What the boys don't want to do,
When she struts her stuff around,
London bridge is falling down,
You can bring cake
Or Porterhouse steak,
But don't bring Lulu.
Lulu gets blue
And she goes cuckoo
Like a clock up on the shelf,
She's the kind of smartie
Who breaks up every party,
Hullabalooloo, don't bring Lulu,
I'll bring her myself.
You can bring Nan with the old deadpan
but don't bring Lulu
You can bring Tess with her "No" and "Yes"
but don't bring Lulu
Lulu has the reddest hair
Redder here and redder there
How can we boys keep our head?
Bulls go wild when they see red
You can bring peas and crullers and cheese
but don't bring Lulu
Giver her 2 beers and she tears portiers
and she throws cups off the shelf
When she loves with feeling
the boys all hit the ceiling
Hullabalooloo
Don't bring Lulu
She'll come here herself!
i´m fat :))
