You don't even need to build your own PKE meter now. Mattel (MatttyCollector) makes an excellent hero prop replica . You can see demos of it on YouTube. It's not cheap crap, it's very good. You'll be impressed.

@plasma070 Yes, the PKE meter in the game had its display changed so that it would actually make sense. And yes, you could wire in an EMF meter, but then you would need to give up the motor that raises and lowers the wings, or the magnetic field from it would interfere with the detection.

I could of sworn that the PKE meter had a bar graph display. Or at least that's what's on the Ghost Busters video game (PS3 / XBOX 360 / PC). the video game PKE had a screen that covered the whole front of the meter. The screen had a bar graph display and some kind of moving coloured squares, I think they monitor direction of signals. If you play the game you'll know what I mean.
I bet you could wire in an EMF sensor module to it so you could actualy track ghost with it.
I want one.

I think a really good PKE meter would have it's antenna raise up and down, based on the temp of the room. Or by light maybe. Instead of it just going up and down like that.
