In the first turn, the enemies will not move from there spots but they will attack if you are in range of there gun from where they stand. Tossing a character over that hasn't moved but can snipe the geo symbols with a high Intelligence is useful, take out the geo symbols quickly and retreat back to the base panel area. Try to hold your ground by rushing into one of the areas on the second turn but also taking out all three enemies in your way, this way you shouldn't be attacked by too many of the remaining enemies and can pick them off as well.
After the battle, I came back here with my thief and a Hit 75+ Hand to steal a Platinum Tux off the "replacement" for where the Rival (Defender of Earth Kurtis) stood. If you want some great armor at this point, repeat this stage a few times and steal the Platinum Tux armor. Once you beat the next stage, you can't come back tot he Gargantua so be sure to get at least one Platinum Tux.

Disgaea DS
On March 5, Weekly Famitsu stated that there had been an official announcement for Disgaea DS (魔界戦記ディスガイア 魔界の王子と赤い月, Makai Senki Disugaia Makai no Ōji to Akai Tsuki?, "Netherworld Battle Chronicle Disgaea: The Prince of the Netherworld and the Red Moon") for the Nintendo DS. On March 7, NIS America released a statement on the US release of a new edition of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the Nintendo DS. The game will be a port of the PSP version, and will include multiplayer gameplay and Etna mode. In order to fully utilize the Nintendo DS' capabilities, several key improvements will be made to the user interface and game system. However, many features from the PSP edition were dropped, including the option to toggle between English and Japanese dialogue, and many additional voiceovers, probably due to the limited storage capacity of the DS game card.
