PixelJunk Monsters - Get Medieval Trophy Guide Part 1

This is a part of a full video trophy guide for PixelJunk Monsters, available to buy on Playstation 3.

This is trophy number 3 - Get Medieval. It's a tricky one to get, which is why it's silver I suppose.

Ok, firstly, you have my deepest respect if you manage to get this trophy AND rainbow the stage. I couldn't manage such a feat, and I didn't have to to get the trophy. It was pretty close though, but you're here to learn how to pass the stage and my vid shows how to do that (barely).

I already had this trophy which is why there's no jingle at the end, rest assured I would have got it again if I didn't already have it.

Ok, arrows and cannons. That's it. You're not allowed to use anything else. The main area to build up is the area just above the house - fill it with arrows. Get some on the outside, but put at least one a bit closer to the house to cover any enemies that get past the initial towers.

Having lots of arrow towers there is very important - more important than cannons in this stage. You will need a couple, though, in the spots I put them.

Finally, use your gems exclusively for levelling up towers - there's no point unlocking other towers and you don't need any extra cash. The most efficient method is to manually level up a tower to red, then spend 5 gems to upgrade to black - if this is too slow for you, spend an extra gem to upgrade them from yellow to black, it won't cost you too much and might even be better in the long run if you can level them up earlier.
