Greetings Krypt Kats! Butch R. Cleaver here and tonight we're saying goodbye to a genre icon and an inspiration for generations of horror, sci-fi and fantasy fans/artists - Forrest J Ackerman, creator of "Famous Monsters of Filmland" magazine, originator of the term "sci-fi" and owner of one of the largest collections of memorabilia in the known universe. We chose a film tonight that's part sci-fi, part horror and all cheese (complete with plot-holes for you Swiss lovers). Chosen Survivors is a tale of a
really bad day that gets even worse when survivors of a nuclear holocaust are stuck 1700 stories under ground with a huge colony of angry vampire bats. Yikes!
We're also dipping into the retro-mercial vault for a look at two of Butch's favorite childhood toys...a garbage can full of ooze and a craft toy that creates an army of mutant and monsters! Thanks for stopping in for another batty boobtube experience at Meet Cleaver Theatre: Sub-Atomic!
