@neverchk generator is a good idea. that alone would be so beneficial during emergencies.

A good test bed is a generator, in the 4500+ watt range. Nothing like powering your house for a week on a gallon of gas (I am allowed to dream right? hehe).

@neverchk Have you though about a dampener-like weight as load for the engine? it would remain constant and you can acurately test and get results from the engine that way. Are there any plans or something that could explain how this thing works?

I'm sorry, but how do you think the Geet system works?
This is a basic vapor carb running a engine without a load...

can you email me the link also?

I've seen the rexresearch plans and they are okay but it's easy to make big improvements with better parts and dimensions. Join the yahoo group "VortexHeatExchanger" and you'll get much better plans and modifications!

But what happens when you try to put the engine to work? It's one thing to turn an engine and quite another to have it move a car and still another to have it do that for an extended period at a reasonable speed.

Good question. At this stage I'm still testing the concept. Once I demonstrate that a GEET reactor is/isn't actually more efficient than the stock carburretor then I will apply a load to the engine. Lawnmowers are a popular application but I don't have that big a yard so I'm thinking generator. Cars are an overly complicated application because the load is so variable (different speeds, uphill, etc) whereas a generator is a relatively constant load.

but the only way to see if it is more efficient way not put a load on it .. like a brake drum ? and then u can test load with out moving things around alot.

The problem is bringing the system from low revs to high revs is not as simple as stepping on the pedal ...its a matter of turning two valves in harmony to maintain the air/fuel mixture while increasing the supplied fuel. I haven't built anything that sophisticated. That's a good idea for loading the engine without involving a pump or generator but the brake drum or belt would heat up and 'fade' thus requiring me to adjust the load as it faded.
