Volvo 850 Turbo, trying the new engine

Testing the new engine built by me and software by TM Racing. Really nice to be an 850 Turbo with the AW 50-42 gearbox (Automatic)
3" stainless dp and all the way back to the rear, where it goes over to 2,5" and a 4" tip on the Feritta muffler.

Jag håller med dig fullständigt. Automat är riktigt skönt att köra. Tyvärr är inte "Volvos" automatlådor spec hållbara när man ökar effekten och då speciellt vridet... Nu har jag istället införskaffat mig en M56H med en AP Racing diff. Den uppsättning bör hålla för nya motorbygget.

men snälla ni! alla 5 cylindriga bensin motorer volvo har är volvos egna det är bara dieseln som volvo hade i 850 och v70 fas 1 som inte är volvos utan att den kommer från audi

Absolut, du har helt rätt i det du skriver.

Jag nämnde nedan angående "GLT turbo" motor... Det har dock aldrig producerats någon sådan... Därför är jag rädd att det kan vara någon klåpare som eftermonterat turbo på sin vanliga GLT... Det är inte någon höjdare att köpa en sådan motor, då kolvar, stakar och andra invändiga komponenter inte är designade/tillverkade för att klara av belastningen med överladdning.

@adribossnikokamp But yep, seriously do it, there are lots of guys who want to but don't know how it will turn out. One guy did a n/a 850 in white, its on youtube somewhere.

@adribossnikokamp Have you read both comments? Lots of stuff you can do free. Turbo exhaust is easy because you use a wrecked turbo donor, really cheap, awesome sound.

I reakon, if you have a mate with a welder and your happy to do a bit of looking around on ebay, wrecking yards etc whole lot could be done for 3,000 AUD. Modded VVIS, cold intake, exhaust, sway bars and Ecu big difference.

@adribossnikokamp But yep mounts work well, I was going to buy the sway bars but missed the sale which was $90 off. If you want hp, like 40 more, you'll need about $4k, was thinking of it myself.

IPD sways, 17" wide wheels, (Now performance) RIce Ecu upgrade, cut and weld turbo exhaust, polished head, shaved head, silicon shorter intake, VVIS (Large accelaration difference), 5 spd manual box to stop wasted power, adjusted timing for more hp, 98 RON, intake spacer.

Should see @least 200hp

@adribossnikokampHaha thats alright, it's actually my first car (That wasn't a farm basher). I didn't gain any more hp, just throttle response is really improved with IPD, easily 1 second less 0 - 100. Mines a 4spd auto does 0-100 kms in about 7 seconds.

Best mods are K&N filter and home made fog light cold intake pipe, block the egr unless you live somewhere really cold, tune-up with new plugs etc Can try a flush with Auto gearbox fluid, works pretty well. Grind the tb plate smooth, works!!

@NorkiddExo Hi I got a 850 2.5 20v with 170hp just like yours I believe.how many HP did you got out of the engine with the IPD engine mounts sorry I'm an amateur.
