I'm going back through the comments here, and there's some guy saying that SP didn't have a good album after Mellon Collie? Adore was arguably the best album by the Pumpkins. Great lyrics, great melodies, and then the live versions were just soooo good. Also, this same guy says Nirvana influenced more bands than the Pumpkins. I have a feeling people say they're influenced by them simply because they feel they have to be. Because they're a classic band. I like Nirvana but they aren't as gd as SP

My friend and I earlier today was talking about our undying love for the Smashing Pumpkins. During my converstion with him I started thinking how awesome it is to know another kid that is a huge Pumpkins fan. A couple of years ago I was the only teen i knew that like the Pumpkins.

@easternmind No, he wasn't using Big Muffs at this point. I forget his gear before Siamese Dream because I read about his gear way back in 1993 or 1994 in Guitar World or one of those magazines. I forget what he said he used, but it was Big Muff.
