  • what about the people that were massacred under the orders of Brigham Young ....Mountain meadows massacre....bet they felt somewhat alienated.....did you guys ever find the gold plates?

  • I remember Margaret was interviewed and in the PBS documentary THE MORMONS. I real like her in those interviews because she struck me as very spiritual, open minded, and a willingness to stand up for her beliefs even if they were not popular. Sad to see how things turned out for her and the LDS Church, but I agreed she should have not had her opinions silenced.

  • If memory serves when I wrote her and talked to her about my being Gay she pretty much if not directly told me i was fine the way i was Thank you :)

  • I thought she was quite fantastic as well. I'm currently reading her scholarly papers. I find her fascinating...

  • she kicked herself out

  • this woman sounds like she had too many stereotypes of the church

  • I was 15 in 1972. I knew Margaret then through mutual friends. She was then, as she is now, an enigmatic and angelic presence among us. God bless you Margaret.

  • This woman was kicked out of the Mormon Church

  • beautiful testimony of the alienation we all suffer

  • This is exactly how I felt in high school and college. Replace the movies with Reservoir Dogs, Shawshank Redemption and 12 Monkeys. Also punk music played a big role.
