How I animate... Sailor Moon again with the Gimp & a wacom tablet! In normal speed :D

Shortcuts I use: D for default colors, X to switch fg/bg colors, K for ink tool, Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste, Shift+T for scaling, Any select tool to anchor the "floating selection", P for paintbrush, S for smudge, space for moving around..
(In the end save it as .gif and choose 'save as animation')

Doesn't this require mastering the way my tablet works BEFORE doing things like this? I just bought mine yesterday. Another question: Does this work in photoshop AND in gimp or just one or the other?

@cutechong well, yes, OFCOURSE XD I think it works with photoshop too. Gimp and photoshop are similar

how long does it take u to make a 1 minute animation?? O_O i wanna try to make an opeing to my show, and i use that program pencil, but i give up too fast. can u help me with learning about gimp?

@lussifer99 Let's see...the default in GIMP is 1 frame per 100ms (0.1 sec) so to make a second you need 10 frames (and not 24 like it really should-but you can always make blended copies to fill the number ^^;..). To make 60 seconds you need 600 frames & the one you see in this video has 15 if I remember correctly. The animation with SerenityxEndymion with 44 frames that's more carefully done took me 2 weeks.

@thewindystar σορυ αν επαιμβαινω στη συζητηση. Δηλαδη για ενα επεισοδειο 20 λεπτων χρειαζομαι γυρω στα 200 frames;

@VanAkita Είναι 10 frames για δευτερόλεπτο (όχι για λεπτό! --> 60s x 10 frames = 600 frames) Για 20 λεπτά είναι 600 x 20 TTvTT

@foxychii "the paper" is not a paper XD it's the screen. & you can see that the file title says "320x240" (pixels)
