Classic Ringo Starr Drum Fill, "Pat Boone, Debbie Boone"

This one is a short little quickie. Like that time Luke got it on with his sister...oooh, zing, burn! Seriously though, this cool little drum fill is pretty classic for Ringo Starr, infamous Jedi knight for the Beatles.

It's not so much a hard fill to teach as it is for clones to get right. You can't just be a clone on this one, it's got to have feel and groove when you execute it. There's a little swing/shuffle feel to it but it's not that complicated. The secrete to playing this riff is saying the names "Pat Boone, Debbie Boone". It helps if you say it with a country accent too.
