  • @franrafuki Facts are:

L'Equipe published a scientific report confirming the presence of EPO in Lance's 1999 TDF urine samples.

UCI refused to investigate seriously that case, preferring to order a dubious report from a Verbrruggen's friend.

WADA described that report as farcical !!!!!

Lance was involved in so many doping stories including actovegin(2 times), transfusion kit (2 times), US Postal trash,. he is connected with the most famous doping doctor : Ferrari.

  • @babbfamilyidaho Thanks to point his weight problem... but he was even a bit heavier in 1999 than for his first TDFs ! As you probably know riders were weighted during the medical checking prior TDF at that time. So Lance's weight loss is a lie, a myth. Most important, he improved his climbing power by more than 20% , that would mean 20% fewer weight , do you math!

testicular cancer gives false positive doping test but use of masking agents avoids false and positive tests : so Lance doped

  • How old could someone like lance sustain 400 watts?

  • @hghepo to be honest, dying old is overrated

  • @vjanov Lance doped to win because he wants fame and to be famous, There is a study that shows that most of the athletes would accept to die young if they could win a gold medal.

How could Lance have won cleanly when EPO gives an unbeatable advantage, we know that his contenders were using EPO too, and EPO was found in 8 of Lance's 13 samples of 1999 TDF. Don't forget that EPO was aprt of Lance's cancer cure. Why should he be afraid of?

  • ok guys, if you really believe what u're saying here, I still don't understand one thing - why would have been anybody interested in the average US rider who had cancer, to ride TdF? Except Nike, all previous sponsors turned their back from Lance. Why would have a cancer surviver had an interest to dope? You can hardly imagine what a pain it was to fight against this disease day after day, month after month, years...Now I don't know where's the true, but I cannot believe after all this he doped.

  • i like the hincapie shirt

  • Like this if you thought of "Chuck" when you saw the name Carmichael in the beggining^^

  • @hghepo He had cancer in 1996 and there is nothing except mental state and tactics to keep him from being good in the tour or good in one day races. Look at his tests and results in 93-95 he out performed everyone but he was too heavy to climb and he wasn't tactically proficient enough or consistent enough to do well in the GC of a long tour. Plus why would he start doping after cancer and not before, even if he did dope the cause of his increased success after cancer was not doping.

  • show as your veins!
