My cousin Wayne told this story to me when i was little. He would put so much drama into to it. Has been years. Thanks for sharing. I was rusty about the details. Now I can share it with my grand daughters. Thank you for posting.
I remember my sister telling me this story at bedtime when I was a child, and always getting so scared and excited at the same time no matter how many times I heard it. Dont know what made me think of it, but when I asked my sister about it, being almost 30 years later, she couldnt remember it. Now through the miracle of the internet, I was able to find it. Great story. Now having children of my own, I can pass it on to them. Only flaw in the story... I remember it being a man, still Great Story
I cried so much the first time I heard this story. My dad told it to me, I was pretty much trembling and telling him to stop. Then on the line "YOU'VE GOT IT!" he grabbed me soooo hard by the arm and his eyes bulged.
He had a really sinister look when he did it too and I just burst out crying.
Couldn't sleep that night. He just sat by the bed apologizing and saying it was just a story.
i was looking for the Sinatra junkie epic, but came across this. My late father told me the story once when I was real little. when the "who's got my golden arm?" bit came into play. that's all i could take. I never got to hear the conclusion until just now.
