  • S.A.W. = Shitty Automatic Weapon

  • @tacokidnapper No, they use AK47

  • @bboygrae Oh nothing like that man... just sharing the love... there is a lot of misconceptions about suppressors and what they can do..... thanks in part to movies and video games. However there is a ton of science behind it. Its not all a bunch of crazies busting caps!

  • what a commotion i caused.....

  • @bboygrae Heat(temp) will affect velocity.. however in this case the round is not in the "chamber" long enough to make a difference in velocity. When sniping or shooting match ammo, yes you want to keep your rounds the same temp. not necessarily cold. When temp of the round increases, the velocity will increase again, causing velo. to go up and raising the strike of the round on target. Im just skimming this concept, so this is by no means a full answer on the subject. Happy sooting everyone!

  • @bboygrae A .223 or 5.56 round is super sonic a suppresser will not change that in this case. You are simply absorbing the gasses as they expel out of the end of the gun. This reduces the noise of the "explosion" that is heard. The round is still super sonic and will be for well over 500 yards more. Shooting subsonic 556 is a good way to get a round stuck in the AR as it was never designed for sub rounds. We tried it.. ruined a gun using a surefire suppressor.

  • that's one fine mosquito repellent...

  • @ZombieGunslingr Sub-Sonic Ammunition in conjunction with a sound suppressor greatly reduces recoil, increases over-all accuracy and of course, the sound signature is significantly reduced... However, Sub Sonic Ammo gives you a considerable lack of knock down power, penetrative power and general stopping power. But, if you want to keep your team alive, headshots, sound modulators, sub sonic ammunition tend to be the best way to go. Element of Surprise.

  • @bboygrae please learn about suppressors before you post on them . nowhere on Gods green earth do you have to run sub ammo with suppressors . if you want to run silent great maybe than you'll some subs with a wet suppressor , but it is not necessary .
