@digipeeper Oh yeah. Haney was one kind of person in the media, and another out of it. When I lived in Atlanta, I trained at his gym, I was looking for additional work and two guys supposedly tried to get me one there although I didn't want to work there. Haney met me, took one look at me and said, "he ain't gonna last", I TOLD him, "You're from Spartanburg SC, I'm from Atlanta, you came here. If I didn't NEED you 25 (my age at the time) years ago, WHAT makes YOU think I NEED you NOW??

@laggerg WOW who knew that Lee Haney came off like a prick. He looked like a cool guy not like some NBA of NFL prick.

My friend meet Arnold when he released his Bodybuilding book in the early 80's.

He was a cool cat but a bit of a smart-ass trickster as he persisted my buddy to "read the book". And also during the 1992 Ms.O event in NYC. He shared a cab with Sharon Bruneau who was constintly smiling and very flirtatious.

@digipeeper Lenda Murray has AWESOME personality, she was a guest poser and speaker at the 1991 NPC Southeastern in Columbus, Ga where a buddy of mine won overall. After that show, contestants and their friends went to a restaurant, there was no one Lenda didn't speak to and took pictures with. From my own experience I say there were a larger list of more sociable pros than others who were jerks. Lee Haney, to me and many others, was the King of pro bodybuilding jerks.

@laggerg I don't know if Laura was still a bitch or she mellowed out after 1991. Like most athlete she wanted to win and I thought she deserved it in 1994 Ms.O. Being a Bodybuilder that takes some juice can turn you to a uptight dynamite. Maybe it is hard to maintain class and dignity. Lenda Murray was very sociable and friendly.

Unlike most mainstream Athletes and celebrity IFBBs should play by the meet and greet rule.

@digipeeper Speaking from my own personal experience, you just about heard right. But hey, it was a good learning experience if you know how to take it. Having won regional titles in the NPC myself, I've discovered that is much more satisfying to be your OWN champion, pro card or not. And yes, she is bangable looking. :)

@laggerg I heard that she was very stuffy and stuck up at times which is very disappointing. My friend's friend ask her for a autograph in public but not even a convention and she charged her $5?!?!?!

This is a woman that was proud to have fans and be a role model and she was a bitch. But then again I still want to Fuck her.
