I would get a used revolver try for a .357mag they are normally cheaper then auto and don’t jam as much also with a .357mag you can keep full power loads in it and shoot mild .38spec at the range.

@lookin4memarbles yeah i remember your sigma it was cool the thing about that is i originaly wanted the sw40ve allied forces edtion pistol but im not sure if the make it anymore

Check out the Sigma sw9ve that is 9mm Or you can get the same thing in .40 cal. I owned the sigma sw9ve and it was a good gun never had no problems with it!! I would but that over a high point!
