yes eventually it won't matter if we save energy as we will be using 100% renewable energy. But for the years to come, turning off appliances, and going without electricity is a great pledge for the earth. And it is something which will help save our planet.

Offshore wind energy alone could supply 4 times the amount of energy the US already uses. And that's just using offshore wind energy surrounding the US, imagine the energy we could produce if we harnessed offshore wind energy worldwide. Yes nuclear may be needed for now as we continue to construct renewable energy sources, but eventually we will easily be able to supply the world with entirely renewable energy.

I agree with you. Nuclear Power is the way forward. Renewable energy can't satisfy world energy demand.
