  • @blueheron24- thanks for answering. Yes, that is Leukotape I used in the video. It is a prescription level tape you can get from a PT or doctor. Recently though I have found it on the internet…make sure you do a few searches before you buy- prices can range from $8 – $16 a roll plus shipping. Don’t let the price discourage you it is worth its weight in gold! Put it directly on your skin and it will stay through showers, baths and swimming for about a week.

  • Thank you, great video.

  • When you also have a neuroma, how can you allow for spreading of the ball of the foot to prevent inflammation?

  • just wondering if this will help with my heel pain for PF??

  • Stephanie that is an effective tape job, however you want to pull from the outer aspect of the foot or the lateral boarder across the arch to allow for a more effective and biomechanical pull of forces across the arch!

  • I've done various tapings & YES - GOOD tape is just hard to find! i'm so glad you brought that up - but I do have a question - when you tape so tight that the skin on the bottom of your foot "folds" and then you walk/run on it - it can become blistered/painful - how do you prevent that? or does the tape have enough "give" to it to allow those skin folds to not become irritated/blistered?

  • I've seen two variations of this taping but the one that is almost the same has an anchor that goes across the top of the foot just behind where the toes enter into the main body of the foot. The anchor is two layers deep keeping the foot more immobile, have you tried this and how did it work for you?

  • the tape you can use cover tape that stretches and Leukotape P on top. She is using the Leukotape.
