Buy Inaria Now: http://www.viridiangames.com/?page_id=5

Viridian Games is proud to present our launch title: Inaria!

Return with us to the days when men were sprites (and so were women and dragons and kings). When 256 colors seemed like a luxury and games were known more for their gameplay than their flashy graphics

Inaria is a game created in that style, but with modern interface conveniences that make it easier to play, giving the best of both worlds.

Inaria is just $4.99 and is available from ViridianGames.com! The music you hear in the trailer is part of the official Inaria soundtrack and is available for purchase at cfxmusic.com!

  • Sorry about that. I am bound and determined to screw up everything I can about this launch. Apparently.

  • looks like an updated version of castle of the winds.

  • awesome oldskool retro game, I played the classic version, and I liked it so I bought the newer version! :D

  • You should provide a link to purchase/download or at least to your website in the description (if youtube still allows direct links in descriptions?). The castle interiors brought back some major oldschool Dragon Quest nostalgia for me. Looking good Viridian.

  • I'll be sure to buy this when I can!

  • @ViridianGames Dude, I was only joking. One thing I learned about indies a long time ago is that they have a long tail. Coninue to update the game, maybe make it a little more open and a little longer and I bet people will come around. My favorite example is Armageddon Empires which didn't do that well in the beginning, but slowly the sales increased due to the fact that he kept updating his game and improving it. I'm not saying that is the way to go here, but indies have a very long tail. :)

  • This one's the best. Now stop updating the trailers so I don't have to keep updating the newsbit I posted :P
