mm... china is a complex issue. i agree and disagree with different things he talks about, but i do think this guy wei has an oversimplified view of china. also, the fact that he was locked up for 20 so years doesn't help. things have changed immensely during those years. a 1989 beijing china is not the same as a 1999 beijing China. and a 1999 beijing china is not the same as a 2009 beijing china.

For a while my impression was that the Chinese government was targeting Falun Gong practitioners specifically but I guess the problem is worse because they grab anyone and everyone off the street.
