Hitler is furious about the final episode of Lost and all the questions that were never answered. (I know I promised to stop doing these, but really, that was a lousy finale!)

That being said I don't feel like I wasted 6 years watching it. I enjoyed everything up until "LA X". Before then, every season was well written (a few bad episodes aside) and flowed together. Each season focused on something new and exciting while the season finales tied everything together. Then "The Incident" airs where they supposedly reset everything and they had no clue how to continue that so everything in season 6 feels tacked on. In my mind, at the end of Season 5 they all just blew up

Dead on. And don't say "if you watched"... I watched every freaking minute, some more than once, did all the ancillary crap, the games, the websites, the forums. They DID make it up as they went along - and if you find the 'finale" answered the questions, then you don't even know what the questions were.

@smokeyhatch14 I'm with you man. I feel that everything was answered but some of the answers came so fast and were only mentioned once... so if you weren't paying attention, went to the bathroom, were talking on your phone, or whatever most people do while watching tv, then you missed it. Just like how they explained the whispers. Michael and Hurley had a 30 second conversation about it and it was answered. Yet I hear people all the time complain about how that was never answered. Idiots.

Many storylines were dropped. The purgatory theme was the only one that would have made sense of the show. Sadly, the writers repeatedly argued against this on air. They should have taken the cue from the viewers and run with it rather than fooolishly resisting it with nothing better to offer.

The seies finale was emotionally appealing, but many issues were not addressed satisfactorily. Some people are thinking themselves smart because they can supposedly see the linkages that stupider people cannot see. However, if you watch the show carefully, you will get the sense the the writers did not know where they were going with the storyline over the years and the direction seemed to change. The endless appearance repeat episodes and the unusal hiatuses were further evidence of this.

If ANYONE can list 10 unanswered questions i will blow a polar bear, seriously just about every question WAS ANSWERED, this is a lame excuse the people that didnt get it or didnt pay attention use, its just projection at its most blatant, Pathetic.

@SammEater If the flashsideways had been a parallel universe people would have said "How predictable" because that exactly what people thought it was, but because of great writing no one knew the real twist, Great series, EPIC finale.
