I seriously doubt Letterman will be fired. Even after something like this, he was hired to tell jokes and that's what he does. Not always well, but that's his thing. I will make a call of support in the unlikely event he does get fired. Ratings tend to trump the noise of dissent. Tons of people say crazy things on the air and still have jobs.

david is entitled to free speech he appologized . the joke in my mind was in bad taste but i hate political correctness no matter what side is trying to force it .apology was accepted . if people want to boycott thats their right also. no he should not be fired .
