Eternal Father Strong To Save sung by the Festival Choir and Hosanna Chorus, from the album 100 Church Classics. "Eternal Father, Strong to Save" is a hymn often associated with the Royal Navy or the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Accordingly, it is often known as the Royal Navy Hymn or the United States Navy Hymn (or just The Navy Hymn), and sometimes by the last line of its first verse, "For Those in Peril on the Sea."

  • Eternal Father, grant, we pray

    To all Marines, both night and day,

    The courage, honor, strength, and skill

    Their land to serve, thy law fulfill;

    Be thou the sheild forevermore

    From every peril to the Corps.

  • Remembering my brother Jerry, a 30 year Navy veteran. He is gone now, but this song brings back the good memories we shared. One day, we will sit and remember them again.

  • This song beautifully makes for a very heavy heart! My brother and I both were U.S. Navy Aviation Maintenance Technicians. We loved the Navy as it is the best run military branch of all the services! Both him and I were totally dedicated in keeping the planes flying. Lost my brother but he's foremost in my heart whenever I here this music, the tears always run...
