@RailfanWaterloo Oh cool.

@jamie514 68, 69, 49 and I think 635 are cancelled and are being replaced with Ottawa through trains. I forget the numbers though. There are no fewer trains between Montreal and Toronto just earlier. The only station losing trains should be Cornwall.

@GEES44DC I thought it was cancel this train and add a bunch of Ottawa through trains at this time?
-
@RailfanWaterloo Sorry I ment deadheading from Montreal and they we apart of the Gaspe Train.

Great video tribute. The 2nd VIA 69 you caught that has the 2 P42 Locomotive, the last 3 cars are heading east for the Gaspe Train. Deadheading at the end of VIA 69.

I notice two of them are Toronto/Ottawa Expresses and don't stop at Brockville. Brockville did lose two trains.

@GEES44DC Yeah I just noticed that myself.

Great vid! I'll miss these. Many mems of making 68/69 trips out of Dorval as it called at Guildwood where I visited. It was consistently a short LRC set with F40 in the early 90s (I remember as an 11 year old reading a 1990 timetable and seeing all the stops and requesting we book it as I had hoped it would be Blue + F9). Then it was F40 with HEP2s for a long time. And of course in recent years it seems to be whatever VIA throws at it haha.

@jamie514 Yeah I'm going to miss them too. I'm glad that I got the chance to ride in both of them.

It's still there ... just disguised as an earlier train!

@GEES44DC I know but they are Ottawa trains now and where I live I won't get to hear it anymore.
